Hey, I’m Allie! I’m a bioinformatician with more than 8 years of experience working with NGS dataset. I am passionate about using multi-omics approaches to explore the genetics of diseases and to develop novel therapeutics to ameliorate those disorders.
During my PhD I used behavioural, molecular and computational techniques to discover how epigenetic mechanisms contribute to the molecular processes that drive learning and memory.
I enjoy spending my free time outdoors, either swimming in Lac Leman or hiking, climbing and eating chocolate and cheese in the Swiss Alps.
